I've only listened to 2 songs (the ones at the download section) and I only like "matter of time" (I think that's the name), that's a cool song.

All I've heard is Hell Yeah and Matter of Time. Hell Yeah was a crappy song and Matter of Time wasn't much better. I guess I'm just kinda concerned that this might make for more delays as far as a new Mudvayne album

Yeah I hope this Hell Yeah project doesn't affect anything related to Mudvayne's new album...or the band itself

Seriously sometimes, as a fan, you have to worry about those things...and all I want is the new MUDVAYNE album to come out soon!

please tell me I'm not alone. I love Mudvayne and Pantera but this just sucks I don't HATE them, but they're definitely not in the same league as Mudvayne as far as I'm concerned. I just think of HellYeah as an interim while awaiting the good stuff! HellYeah seems to be a bunch of friends jamming to have fun. Chad even kind of said that in an interview (the Revolver one): "In that group (Mudvayne, duh!), Gray writes around conceptual themes and agonizes over every syllable. With HELLYEAH, he just popped open his laptop and started typing whatever was on his mind. "I didn't worry about lyrical content because it didn't matter" Gray explains. "I just thought, Let's create something different that's not so goddamn intense."It would still be cool to see them live, and I'll take whatever I can get for now, but the REAL excitement will be when the next Mudvayne album comes out! ;D

Yeah, Mudvayne is like a well-oiled machine. I'm not even sure if I want to spend the money on the Hell Yeah cd, but Chad and the other guys have wanted to do this for so long, perhaps now is the best time for it. Chad might need to have a breather from the intensity of Mudvayne, and just do something rednecky and Pantera-ish. To get it out of his system, ya know? I'd go to a concert (mainly for him, like Kathy ), but no, it's really not my bag of chips either.

I already pre-ordered the cd because you could get video downloads when you pre-order. I got the first one last night....a 5 minute behind-the-scenes random shoot ;D

Eh? Confusion? I've not even heard of them! Is that just cause I'm not quite in contact with the outer world of music these days? Can someone explain ¬_¬ like..what kinda music are they?

You gotta keep distance to HellYeah cause it's just a fun band... And they got Vince in the business again, maybe in 2-3 years they will make HellYeah more intense and if they do it will be sure a masterpiece.
