I know the lineup isn't wonderful, but surely I can't be the only one going! These are the bands that are going to be there:

There are some bands I'm really looking forward to, and some not at all! But Ozzfest is one of those shows that goes beyond the music. Just spending the day with a sea of like-minded people is such a great experience. I've never met an asshole at an Ozzfest....everyone is so nice there! I'm hoping we get Ozzy at ours (West Palm). They announced earlier that he would be there, and now it looks like he's not.....who knows, maybe he'll surprise us since it's the last stop of the tour.

Hmmm, I don't know...the last time I drove there, my car died as soon as I pulled into the hotel parking lot and I had to get towed all the way to Fort Myers where my dad lives....But I have a new car now. If it's on the weekend, Ozzfest is a possibility. As long as I'm far away when SOAD goes on!  |

It's going to take lots of concerts to pacify me until they start touring again! No other bands can really take their place though  |

Me and my dad were going to go buut looks like we're not. I really wanted to see Disturbed again and SOAD before they disappear. I love Lacuna Coil (Cristina Scabbia is my idol) so it would've been a treat seeing them. Buuut he hasn't gotten tickets yet so I don't think we're going.

They should still have some tickets available! It's great that you were going with your dad ;D I go with my daughter every year, and sometimes my husband too. When I was younger, if a parent went with you to a concert it was because they didnt trust you or something, now when parents go its usually because they both enjoy the music. I love seeing families at concerts (well, not little, little kids) that's what I call "quality time" |

I took my dad and my mom with me to see Breaking Benjamin, Staind, and 3DD. He was sort of into BB cause he listened to it knowing how much they meant to me. He liked all the bands! We talked a long time after the concert. It was nice. I wouldn't mind going with him to Ozzfest. But most of our quality time is Cubs games.
He just wants to go for Ozzie anyways.
