...MuDvAyNe will include a lot of new material from the self-titled album when they start touring for that album. I just hope they include more than they did when The New Game came out. They only played Do What You Do, A New Game, and Dull Boy. I was hoping they would play a couple more like maybe Fish Out of Water or Scarlet Letters, at least.
I really hope they play Beautiful and Strange when they tour in the coming months.
I understand we won't know until it happens but what do you guys think?

Yeah would like to see some more new stuff..if it's worthy of playing that is. Maybe keep all the songs they have been playing too and have the setlist a little longer

yeah, that would be pretty cool.
it would be awesome too if they played 15+ song setlist and include some real gems like maybe Prod, Skrying, The End of All Things to Come, Rain. Sun. Gone. you know, just stuff you wouldn't expect them to play live

Well according to Matt in that one interview, "It's the fastest we've ever played....There's no way I'll be able to play it live"

Well 'Beautiful and strange' isn't that fast but it is fast so they can play it but Matt's being lazy?

Yeah i'm pretty sure he was just making a joke when he said that. I think I read an interview along time ago that they wouldn't put anything on an album that they wouldn't be able to play live

Not expecting much. They usually only do 12-14 songs (which is kinda sad, bands 20 years older than them can average 16 songs a show). And they have so many staples, you can really only expect 1 or 2 rare songs a tour. Plus Do What You Do (and possibly A New Game) are going to be regulars, so it leaves less room for new stuff. As for Matt's comment, he's way more technical than a lot of these death metal drummers, and they can do blastbeats for an entire show, so I'm sure he can handle a couple fast tunes off the new record.

thats so true, hoover8. i feel that way about all bands out there, even with my own band. you should put a song on a cd you know you'll be able to perform live at anytime.
god, i can't wait for the new album or the tour. i'm so amped up for it

Yeah, I hope for a 20 song set list like 4 songs from every record, that would be cool

So I'm starting to wonder about the next tour. I'm guessing they'll announce a tour around the album release date that'll start mid-late January or early February. As for songs, I think it'd be cool to open with Heard it all Before. They could have the guitar intro played through the PA, then go right into it. That song is heavy as fuck, it'd be great. As for other songs, it would be cool to hear Mercy, Severity and/or IMN this tour (rare songs would be nice too, but I know that won't happen).

www.artistdirect.com/nad/news/article/0,,6223513,00.html Someone else posted this, but since I ain't downloading the new album and can't go nuts over it yet, I thought I'd go nuts over this. How the fuck can they not tour for this?! Let me get my facts right. They take a 2+ year break, in which time they record a new album, then sit on it to do Hellyeah. Then they finally release it, only playing 3 songs off it, only doing 3 American tours, then finish up this new record, and now they aren't going to support it. I guess this is Chad's way of saying that Hellyeah is back up and running. I don't see how they can do this to the fans (especially the European and Australian fans who haven't seen the band since 2005/2006) after having to wait so long for them to make their glorious return, which didn't happen (The New Game was plagued with problems, and a year later, a lot of people don't seem to care about that record in my opinion). It obviously isn't stress of touring, Hellyeah will certainly hit the road once the time comes. I wish they had the balls to outright say they don't have that much enthusiasm for Mudvayne anymore. I sadly think this a sign that it's end of Mudvayne. It's their last album on contract with Epic, they keep saying how this album has come full circle with LD50, etc. Maybe I'm taking this way too seriously, but if HY does indeed get back, then it could be like last time, where we have to wait 1-2 years before Mudvayne becomes active again.

HellYeah is coming back in 2010, i got a feeling that they will release something in spring and will tour through summer, autumn and winter.
I've read the interview, Chad is like 'we need to have a break' but i think they had a really long break already, there's something wrong in Mudvayne'a camp.. Something that we don't want to happen, we might see them in long future again or never.

Sadly, I wouldn't be surprised if you are right. I've felt this way every since the Hellyeah project started, and the fact that they aren't supporting this new record doesn't make me feel any better about it. I think there is a pretty good chance that Mudvayne will call it quits pretty soon. Maybe they will tour again sometime in the future, but I think it's going to be a long time before that happens. Hopefully they prove me wrong though.
