I have a question. Remember Chad was with a partner named Erin? Was that a divorce (seeing as though a ring on the right finger was in view for a long period during the ld50 days) or just a break up we never really heard much about that. Yet its all good for him now with Kelli

Can anyone interpret the spoken word part of Death Blooms? I have a project where I have to analyze a song, and this is the only part that I am stuck on.

Dark for fear of failure
when you don’t feel there’s any hope in turning things around you’ll become nasty and bitter
and in a gloom as wide as an eye fermenting-roiling hate
gloom as wide as an eye- connection between sight and circumstance. Roiling-murky liquid, and what do dead eyes look like?
Death grip in my veins, flowering forth foul nectar
connection to roiling again and medication that does more harm then good
the space between a blink and a tear, death blooms
seeing crying as acceptance of death
Or that's how I feel about it...

Mercy Severity is a masterpiece, great catchy song. A Key To Nothing is a brain scratcher too, also Skrying one of my personal favourites. I love the (in Chads words) 'The bizarre and wackiness of it'

I was drunk the other night and listened to Lost and Found and figured out that the first few songs seem to be connected. The narrator starts off determined, and is still determined by track 2, but bad things are happening. Yet they push through. By Happy?, someone has wronged them and they are starting to feel the affects. By IMN, they are totally depressed and want to kill themselves. Fall Into Sleep is then the narrator reflecting on humanity in their last moments before they die. The fall into sleep part could mean the act of dying. Rain Sun Gone seems to have some suicide sounding lines, so perhaps the narrator decided not to kill themselves, hence "life's not meant to be disposable".

Yeah but by the end of the cd he's ready to kill himself again. and then.... HELLYEAH. XD

Right now I'm trying to translate the L.D.50 lyrics into german, but I'm not sure about some expressions. I hope you can help me out:
1. Dig-lyrics: what does "Teething on concrete" mean? 2. Dig-lyrics: what does "hang from their T's rated P.G. insight" mean? 3. Severed-lyrics: what does "take it, myself, my life Text book f**king mental, off me" mean? 4. Severed-lyrics: what does "get off the cross" mean? is that an english expression, or is he literally talking about Jesus?
Thanks in advance!!

LOL biting the curb. American History X is a perfect example. Personally, I'd rather have him fucking shoot me in the head then bite the curb >_O
