For those who didn't want to preorder the album, check out what Mudvayne just posted in a myspace blog:
BAND OPENS UP TICKET SALES AT ALL OUTLETS (Monday, September 29) AND PARTNERS WITH BESTBUY TO ADD A FREE LIVE WEBCAST OF THEIR CONCERT TO FAN CLUB MEMBERS
MUDVAYNE have slammed onto the charts with "Do What You Do," the fastest-rising single of their career. Garnering over 75 radio adds out of the box--in the first 36 hours the track became available this week--the song is 1 most added at the Active Rock chart and 2 most added at Modern Rock.
As the band prepare to release THE NEW GAME--their first studio album in three years, due out November 18 via Epic Records--the band is working even harder to get the best possible deal directly to their fans in light of the tough economy by opening up ticket sales of their upcoming tour to all outlets and partnering with Best Buy to add a free live web cast of their concert to fan club members who pre-order the album at bestbuy.com/mudvayne. "We want fans that cannot afford to see us live or that live outside our tour markets to still get the benefits of our 'The Album Is The Ticket' program," says singer Chad Gray, "and by adding the live webcast and releasing ticket sales to the general public, we are now able to offer fans even more value and options for their money in this rough financial time."
The concert webcast will be from one of the tour stops (TBA) on the first leg of "The New Game Tour 2008." Meanwhile, all tickets will be released at all outlets by Monday, September 29th. All current 'The Album Is The Ticket' members are entitled to a free meet & greet at their selected show.
so fanclub members now get a meet & greet! Haha I wonder if all of our griping led to that?

WOOOO HOOOO! That's nice of them to consider the economy and the impact it's going to have on everyone. But now I'm like, hmm...I'll be able to go the meet and greet but my boyfriend won't..unless I pre-order another CD. A conundrum.

I was surprised to read that on the Mudvayne blog though. Although of course I'll do the meet & greet, but I know us Pit people will be going early & staying late to try meet them the non-meet & greet way too!

And that reminds me....are there any pit members going to the NY show?

Well shit thats awsome about the meet and greet but...
Last time I met Chad was with Hellyeah...I choked up man, I was trying to let some words outta my mouth but I was stuttering kinda haha, all I said was Ive been a big fan for a very long time, I sounded like a tard saying it too. Then I went on to Vinnie Paul which was really nice, I said pretty much the same thing, and that he never lets me down with his excellent drumming, and he was like so into what I said to him he was just like man I really appreciate that, thanks man. I went on to Maxwell and told him Ive been a fan of Nothingface since "Violence" and then I told him "Fuck condoms, Im cumming in your ass" from one of the Hellyeah videos...He started laughing..Went on to Greg, kinda choked up again telling him ive been a fan for a long time and Ive always supported Mudvayne and I definately love this band...He just looked at me with his usual blank kinda look and said Thanks man. Bob Zilla was pretty cool, hes just energetic, hey whats up man how you doin you want me to sign the cd too? arright man lemme shake your hand for being a good fan...stuff like that...
Now meeting MUDVAYNE as a band...God...Ryan and Matt Ive never met, I just really hope I don't get all nervous again.

^I would be pretty much the same if I met Ryan. I would tell him he's a god, then how much of an inspiration he is, then I would be speechless.

Ginelly & I did the HellYeah meet & greet too. You're lucky you got to say anything to them kood! We were practically shoved through there...only had about 5 seconds per band member. I'm hoping this one is a bit more relaxed...although honestly I have no idea what I'll be saying anyway!
I noticed on the blog entry it says current members of The Album Is The Ticket will get a meet & greet. I wonder if that means people who get the album/ticket after they go onsale to the public are not eligible?

I wonder if that means people who get the album/ticket after they go onsale to the public are not eligible? I hope that's not the case, cause I just preordered another CD JUST so I could get a ticket and meet and greet for my boyfriend. BUT they said that no tickets were on sale at that time. What's up with that? So now I'm worried I bought another CD for nothing, will have to get a general sale ticket, and won't be able to get a pass for my boyfriend. :/ I think I'm probably going to cry if I meet the guys, straight up. I won't even know what to say. I'll probably end up sounding like a retard, blubbering about how much I love them and all that and how I want to have Ryan's babies. I've been debating whether to get Mudvayne or NIN lyrics tattooed to my ribs, so if I decide on Mudvayne I definitely want to get it done before the concert so I can show them.

I'm actually rather calm at meet and greets but I don't know what I would say if I had time to actually talk to them I'd probably make a stupid joke about how they rip off bill hicks more the denis leary or something I dunno, I just really want to get a picture with Matt, that would be awesome ^_____^
