All I can read is: "MUDVAYNE has set "The New Game" as the tentative title of its new album, according to HeadbangersBlog.com." Maybe post the text from Headbangersblog.com too please if there's more info. Luckily I still have access here .. the internet nazi's aren't aware of the pit yet!

MUDVAYNE has set "The New Game" as the tentative title of its new album, according to HeadbangersBlog.com. The band is wrapping up the disc with producer Dave Fortman (SLIPKNOT, EVANESCENCE) and is hoping for a late November release. A second full-length record is tentatively due next year.
Regarding the first disc, Fortman tells HeadbangersBlog.com, "It's heavy and has great hooks, but it also has some moments that are a little more rock 'n' roll that are really cool. It's not anything drastic, but every now and then you'll catch a little hint of old-school rock. Also, the tones are a little more earthy sounding and a little warmer than [2005's] 'Lost and Found'."
MUDVAYNE issued a collection of fan-selected rarities called "By The People, For The People" in 2007. It featured one new track called "Dull Boy" (see video below).
MUDVAYNE was initially rumored as one of the big acts on this summer's Rockstar Energy Mayhem tour, which is co-headlined by DISTURBED and SLIPKNOT, but those plans never materialized.
Singer Chad Gray and guitarist Greg Tribbett spent most of last year and the first part of 2008 touring with their other group, HELLYEAH, which also includes members of PANTERA, DAMAGEPLAN and NOTHINGFACE.
Drummer Matt McDonough told The Pulse of Radio recently that he's been concerned about staying in shape during the band's long layoff. "Yeah, I'm not getting any younger, so I love to run, I've got a nice elliptical here at my house, but nothing compares to being onstage and playing my drums," he said. "I mean, you can sit down at a kit by yourself in your basement and it's just — the energy isn't the same. And I don't think you, for me, I don't play the same way. So I'm a little nervous about going back onstage again. It's gonna be some work to get my stage legs."

The Headbanger's Blog reads:
Exclusive!: Mudvayne To Birth Two New Records in 2009 08/14/2008
After putting their fourth record on hold last summer so singer Chad Gray could tour with his other band Hellyeah, Mudvayne are finally wrapping up the disc with producer Dave Fortman (Slipknot, Evanescence). The band has completed tracking drums and guitars and is about to start recording bass. Vocals will follow and mastering should be completed by October 1 for a late November release, Fortman tells HeadbangersBlog.com. The album is tentatively called The New Game and will be followed six months later by a second full record.
As for the first disc, Fortman says Mudvayne fans should be pleased, but at the same time, the band has dug into its arsenal and pulled out some new weapons. “It’s heavy and has great hooks, but it also has some moments that are a little more rock n’ roll that are really cool,” Fortman says. “It’s not anything drastic, but every now and then you’ll catch a little hint of old-school rock. Also, the tones are a little more earthy sounding and a little warmer than [2005's] Lost and Found.”
Mudvayne have most of the music for the second album written, but still need vocal melodies on four songs. “We may go for even more of a metal approach on some of the songs to break it up a little bit,” Fortman says. “But who knows what they’ll come up with.”
My girl logged into IM after I posted this and I had her e-mail them to me too

There goes the 2-disc wonder I was worried about!!!
2 cds, 2 years worth of touring, and Mudvayne will reach the end of Epic records contract and the guys will hang up their jackets.
Either going back with Hellyeah, or going out for good. What Matt and Ryan will do, I don't know...

wow, what a lame ass album release...and what's with the “It’s heavy and has great hooks, but it also has some moments that are a little more rock n’ roll that are really cool,” Fortman says. “It’s not anything drastic, but every now and then you’ll catch a little hint of old-school rock. Also, the tones are a little more earthy sounding and a little warmer than [2005's] Lost and Found.” shit? So are they going to dissolve into nothing better than fucking Nickelback? What a crock.

I'm not going to take anything he says into consideration and wait until a band member makes a comment about the albums or I hear it for myself, whichever one comes first. And you can't rule out Mudvayne getting a new contract negotiated with Epic Records, or even the band going to another label after their current contract expires. Another thing is though, the guys have said they don't want to keep doing this for a long time, and I know Greg and Matt are past 40, and Chad and Ryan are probably getting close to 40.

I wasn't too happy hearing that either, a lot of bands seem to be taking that direction. I wanted them to try something new while sticking to their roots.
