The New Game!

Curious what they'll be giving us on the 26th if we just got the supposed album tittle now, single yeah yeah?

Hopefully after this double album deal we'll get 2 more albums out of these guys, I'll be really upset if they call it day after this Cuz really, 40 isn't THAT old but i can't see them doing this in their 50's.

And with that hope in mind when HellYeah comes back around I'm really wishin that Matt and Ryan will find some other musicians to dick around with so we can get something more from them too, I think they would make a much more fucked up and interesting 'side project' then Chad and Greg did LOL

I knew they would evolve, but I had hoped that they might bring back all that intensity and energy in their music..I'll just have to wait it out.

I don't care what they do as long as it's good, no more TV Radio's, kthnx. If they do decide to go softer (like the mention of being able to do an acoustic album) that would add to their shelf life. Lost and Found was good, I just wish it had been more interesting, that's all they need to do to keep me LOL.

Yeah, Lost and Found was good, but it didn't have the originality as L.D. 50 or TEOATTC. I hope they bring it back. Dave Botrill did a great job on TEOATTC, I'm just afraid with Dave Fortman producing, it might end up the same as L&F.

'Lost and Found' disaponted me, I expected more but still it's a good record and I'm scared that 'The new game' will disapoint me aswell.

I like Lost and Found, but it's generally too straightforward in terms of song structures. I even hear that Ryan was disappointed with that album, so who knows what they'll do this time around. Plus, really, when do Mudvayne ever disappoint?

I really despised everything that was off of Kill, I Outta (Beginning of all things to end), but LD50 and TEOATTC are the only relevent nu-metal in my eyes, especially in such a bland genre. L&F was pretty much the definiton of average for me, but still has some of my favorite songs by them (Pushing Through, All That You Are, Just, Pulling the strings), but after hearing Dull Boy way back in November of 2007 i'm pretty convinced that it will be a good return to roots. I basically don't believe anything that comes out before any actual songs are released, so even though it's stated as being more "rock inspired", i definitely think that if Dull Boy is a hint to that sound, we are in for a treat.

Also, if Converge and Mudvayne every toured, i think i would literally bust a nut i'd be so happy. please, God, make it happen.

That new clip is fucking GREAT. I've always had high hopes for every album and they've delivered so you better believe I feel the same for this one. My rough guess on what Chad is saying is something like:

"Longer, inside me
Thats always rising
Too quick just to kill
Lost in, into me
But you dont know me
Stand against your will"
