can somebody answer these questoins... can weed kill you? what does it do to you? is it illegal in the united states? Nope, it can't kill you. People don't really get addicted to it. Well, it's true, anything can be addictive, but this is not a drug that is considered "addictive" like alcohol or hard core drugs are. Idk exactly what it does to u cause I've never done it myself, but I know it's not supposed to be harmful, it's just illegal (at least here in the US it is), that's all- which I don't undestand cause what's really harmful (cigarretes) isn't illegal  . |

That's one of the things that pisses me off-that it's illegal while alcohol (which causes far more problems) is not.
as for how it makes you feel.....from what I recall it was kind of like being drunk without the hangover. And most people are quite calm with weed as opposed to those who can be nasty & belligerent when drunk. But since it's been a very looong time since I had any, maybe some of the more recent users can elaborate!

It is physically impossible to be addicted to weed. Also, in order to overdose, you would have to smoke your own body weight's worth. As for the feeling-calms you down, makes you hungry (most of the time anyway), sometimes it opens your mind, others it dumbs you down for however long you're high (but this is generally only when you've been ripping bongs or poppers for 30 mins to an hour). The only reason it is illegal in Canada/US is because the government is too stupid/conservative/stubborn to realize that it is not harmful and has benefits. The odd thing is though is that in Canada, salvia is legal, and that is a hallucinogenic. Not that I am complaining, but you would think weed would be legalized or decriminalized before salvia was legal. Another shitty thing that I just remembered was that a few years ago weed was under consideration for decriminalization. Now the Conservatives are in power. Fuck...

you've got that right! the Conservatives are at the root of the problem. They're too close-minded to look at the research and too worried about "rocking the boat" to do anything about the ridiculous laws. Maybe when these geezers die off and there's some new blood in the law-making positions, there will finally be some justice  |

Oh, they've been trying for years to get that legalized, but with a bunch of Puritan tightwads holding office, it'll never happen. Just have to save up your $$ for a trip to Amsterdam for now.

i'd like to know yalls opinions on it. like are you with it or agianst it, have you been affected by it, etc. I've lost a few friends to drugs like meth and all that bullshit. I'm against that for sure, but I enjoy smoking herb. |

The Republicans won't legalize/decriminalize it, and I don't know enough about Democrats to guess what their opinion on weed is.

It's our 2 political parties. Sometimes they are equally as bad as each other. I wish we had more to choose from. There are many others but none have a serious chance of getting elected. Maybe with more choices they'd stop the crap and get down to business.
