With a max of 9 memebers what would your dream band be? You can explain your thoughts if you want to..
Vocals - Waylon of Mushrromhead
bass - Ryan Martinie (You know what band)
Guitar - Rob Flynn of Machine Head
Guitar - Matt DeVries of Chimaira
Drums - Roy Maygora EX-Soulfly
Keys/smaples/ misc. - Ettore Rigotti of Disarmonia Mundi (myspace.com/disarmoniamundi to see all that he does)
2nd vocals - Maynard james Keenan of Tool and A Perfect Circle
3rd vocals - mark Hunter of Chimaira
I think that'd be a very interesting combination

Bass- Ryan Martinie or Geddy Lee (Rush) Lead Guitar- Adrian Smith (Iron Maiden) Rythym Guitar- James Hetfield (Metallica) Melodic Vocals-Chad Grey Screams/Growls-Corpsegrinder (Cannibal Corpse), plus Chad sometimes for the coolness effect. Drums- Paul Bostaph (Exodus, Ex-Slayer, Testament) Keys- The new guy from Children of Bodom (I won't be suprised if somebody says Mudvayne  ) As a spin off idea, my band of deceased musicians would be: Bass-Cliff Burton (Metallica) Lead Guitar- Randy Rhoads (Ozzy Osbourne, Ex- Quiet Riot) Rythym Guitar- The almighty Dimebag Darrell (Ex-Pantera/Damageplan) Can't think of any deceased metal singers at the moment, so for now its an instrumental band. EDIT- forgot a drummer too, but I'll think of something soon. |

the only deceased singer I could think of is Bon Scott (AC/DC)
and for drummer John Bonham (Led Zeppelin)
but that would be REAAALY old school metal!
there's also the singer from Death, who's name escapes me now....

.. what's your dream band kathy? I'm still trying to figure that out ~and narrow it down to 9! My problem is I'm mostly drawn to vocals, the rest of the band is secondary. Can I have a band with 9 vocalists and no instruments?  and the deceased singer of Death is Chuck Schuldiner. Like his sound or not, the band pretty much started the death metal genre. |

And yeah they kinda did start the death metal genre.
