Agreed. As much as i liked Red Harvest, i think i'll still prefer A Cruel World. I thought he sang a lot more on it, and in pretty cool ways. A lot more depth to the music, at least thats how i felt about the album.

I didn't really care for all of the talking parts on Red Harvest, although they were good in concert. I just really love his vocals on songs like Truth and Leaving Song, they have that "edge" to it. Sad thing is chances are very slim they'd ever get played live.

Not really the band (I love them) or their new cd "united abominations" but I must say Megadeth's A Tout Le Monde new version was pretty much a disappointment to me...I didn't even like Cristina Scabbia's vocals that much either (She's an awesome singer nevertheless).

I ain't to up to date on the metal scene so I'd say the best songs of the year are Dull Boy and Sleepwalker and the new Dimmu Borgir shit.

Bands I started liking: Behemoth, Death, Beneath the Massacre, classical, jazz and funk stuff, Dimmu Borgir, Job for a Cowboy, and a whole bunch of others I can't even recall right now.
Bands I started hating: (not so much hating, but losing shitloads of respect for and listening to less)-Metallica.

Best singer: I'll always think of it being 80s era Bruce Dickinson
Best dirty vocals: George "corpsegrinder" Fisher (cannibal corpse)

Best drummer: Inferno from motherfucking BEHEMOTH!!!!
Best tour: Radio Rebellion (Beneath the Massacre, Gorjira, Job for a Cowboy, Behemoth), and Slayer's North American Christ Illusion tour.
