That sounds great Megan-and have your friends join us here too! Meeting them at the airport would be awesome, but chances are they're not flying to our show...their concert the night before is only about a five hour drive.
Yeah, the banner would be better suited to a Mud concert, but I WILL be wearing a Mudvayne shirt that day, and still plan to pass out cards or flyers for the Pit to anyone else with a Mudvayne shirt on!

Well, you've got to think of the fact it's HY and not Mudvayne yet. I'd wait for a Mudvayne concert to hold up a Mudvayne pit banner of any kind Well, there *is* that think about! My bad. Tact is not one of my stronger learned character traits as of late.

There's definatley nothing wrong with wearing a Mudvayne shirt to HY And I like the flyers for the pit idea. It's a great time to get new members because Mudvayne are coming back in 08

I have quite a collection of band shirts and that's most of my non-working wardrobe. So unless it's really hot and I'm wearing a black tank top...I wear a band shirt of some kind to every show. I often wear ones of bands I'm seeing...or at least of the same genre. That being said-I think I'll wear my '03 Mudvayne tour shirt this time!
while we're on the topic (sort of) there was some discussion on the LOG forum about wearing band shirts to concerts.
Some of the people were saying it's in bad taste to wear a shirt to a concert of a band you are seeing. That was the first I'd ever heard of such a thing! I've always felt that by wearing their shirt would show that you are a fan..wearing an older shirt (not one you bought at that day's show) would show that you've been a long-time fan. ;D
any thoughts/opinions?

No, it's in bad taste if the shirt in question is brand-new. It's like you bought it just for the show, just to show that you're "down wit da homies", whereas well-worn or rare band shirts of the band whose show you're at is showing dedication. It's all good to wear a shirt you just bought at the show to the next show, but not the one you bought it at.

I always wear an older shirt. it's not "cool" to put on the shirt you just bought on your way to your seat, lol.

I agree with that. I buy shirts at shows sometimes but never wear them there. LOL however I will sometimes put it on after the show for the ride home if I'm totally sweaty from the pit and it's cold outside!

Ive only done that once, thats when i met HELLYEAH. I was out in the city at 7 and only had what i had on me no way to change or anything i had on what i was wearing in the pit. I managed to stuff one HELLYEAH shirt in my pocket yet then my shorts became tighter and a hat up my shirt so i put the other HELLYEAH shirt on. But yeah my brother has always told me that rule, but its just what you decide.

He does! Not quite sure why, but I think *that* is now one of my favorite photo of Chad onstage. Odd and intense.
