Kathy and I were thinking of printing out that pic and folding it into a paper airplane with the mudvaynepit.com or something on it! lol Then throwing it onto the stage when we go to see them in Dec.!

A while back, I *think*, there was a bit of talk about making a Pit t-shirt or some such...there was even a poster who made photo-images on shirts and things. Perhaps we should make an 'offiical' Pit-shirt? With Cathy's success rate in getting backstage and/or near the musicians, perhaps the FL contingent could make Chad & Co. aware of the Pit via a stylish manifestation of our love for all things Mudvayne!
Now that I've the home PC up, finally, I'll do some research and find out how much this might cost. On the Apocalyptica forum, there's a long-time group of people who met on the board and at Apo shows who have formed their own "Apoland"--yes, a real community with a President (Eicca), etc. They've got, or will be getting, their own Apoland-wear soon. And the phorum is gearing up ideas for an official Apo Phorum shirt (complete with 'play naked' in Finnish! Mmm...)

...I'm picturing a little paper airplane with the image of Chad's butt cheeks on the wings, the Pit logo on either side of the plane's 'body', sailing over a seething mosh pit.... I like it! It's sure to get the guys' attention!

Sounds good Gretchen! I did buy one of those kits of iron-on paper that you can print out on your computer. I made one shirt with a small logo on it for myself. I wasn't too pleased with the results, especially after a few washings. We'll have to check into a company like cafepress.com which does printings of just about anything you want. I know Jesse did Mud-World shirts on there (I own two of them): www.cafepress.com/buy/mud-world/-/cfpt2_/copt_/cfpt_/source_searchBox/x_16/y_11I'm not sure what the financial layout is or how much interest there would be for mass quantities of Pit shirts. But I agree, it would garner some attention. We could also (since we WILL be at the railing) have something to hang over the rail if the security at Hard Rock aren't total douchebags and will allow it. |

Yeah i agree with the banner thing, yet the plane and stuff is good lol. Seeing as though i wait for all the bands at the airport (the specials lol) and hopefully chad will remember me when they come back out. I have an idea, seeing as though i was going to get shirts made with writing about the guys on it i could have a large stencil of the pit on the back and get all my friends to have the same stencil on the backs. We'll get the boys on here one day!!!!  |
