So the album comes out tomorrow for the people who pre-ordered. Well I got an early copy of the CD and listened to it.
I've loved every song Chad and Greg have made throughout Mudvayne, and Hellyeah's first record.
So let's just say with this record, there are some songs I just do not like at all, and that's a first for me, never have I disliked a song from Chad or Greg! But yeah it's finally happened, and well it had to happen at some point!

...and not to bash the album, there are some good songs on there too. The best might be --Alive And Well, nice groove and sweet drumming with the double bass finally from Vinnie Paul. --Order The Sun is pretty vicious sounding, kinda reminds me of like a Mudvayne-ish tune for sure! --Cold As a Stone is a typical Hellyeah sounding song. --Better Man, I quickly skimmed through, it's a slow song so it's either you like it or not, I'll give a listen on the way to work in the morning. --Stampede is a pretty different sounding vocal melody approach from Chad, its like high-low high low all in one verse. Sounds good though. --Pole Rider, I absolutely hate the song 110% --Debt That All Men pay is okay, the guitars are pretty sick, sounds like nothingface, otherwise.. typical evolved sounding Hellyeah --It's On, typical Hellyeah, evolved sounding Hellyeah.
...this is a quick review.

I have almost the same opinion like you Kood,Pole rider is one of the biggest shits I ever heard from Chad(next to the songs like Choices and TV radio) There are also some a bit boring songs like Stand Or Walk Away.I like Order The Sun,Stampede,It's on! (probably i like it the most) Debt that All Men Pay,basicly I like it,good record but I liked "Hellyeah" better.

Alright so I gave the album a couple runs through.
1. Cowboy Way - When it first came out I was a bit upset on how it sounded, but it grew on me a bit and I guess it's an okay song, it's weak lyrically though.
2. Debt That All Men Pay - Good song, good guitar work, good groove.
3. Hell Of A Time - It's like a more intense version of Alcohaulin' Ass, so it's decent, but still pretty average in my opinion.
4. Stampede - Good song, I like Chad's vocals in the verses in the song, chorus was stuck in my head all day today, even though I have no clue as to what he's saying.
5. Better Man - It's borderline an okay song, to pretty weak, I really didn't care for it much being a slow song and all.
6. It's On! - Pretty sick song, probably one of the favorites on the album.
7. Pole Rider - Still absolutely hate this song 110%. I'll never listen to it again, such a horrible song. It's just a song to give to Vinnie so he can play the song in his clubs, which is so retarded.
8. Cold As A Stone - Another song that's kinda 'meh', guitar/drums are pretty damn good, too bad Chad ruins the chorus. The chorus gets on my nerves, "Cold as a stone" Chad sings it in like a very whiny way and it's just blah, makes my nerves snap.
9. Stand Or Walk Away - I actually like this song a lot, I know you say different yorek, but it stands out from the typical Hellyeah songs, it's kinda Mudvayne-ish in my opinion and it's a good slow melody-ish song. Love the intro and the guitars.
10. Alive And Well - Another really good song, one of the favorites. The verses kinda remind me of Mudvayne's "On The Move" how it's all blended together, sounds pretty sweet! The song overall is pretty damn good in my opinion, one I'd definitely listen to over and over, a favorite of mine.
11. Order The Sun - Yet another really good song and another favorite. Chad's vocals all together are pretty damn intense, and the song is just great.
I'd day 6.5 or 7/10 overall for the album.

I still need to give it a few more runs, but so far "Stand or Walk Away" takes it for me. I'll post my own review soon

Stampede, running over me Death angels riding, it feels like I'm dying Stampede, that's crushing me My temperature's rising the demons inside me I am the wind I am the rain I am the flood I am what you've created And you've gone too far
Order the sun, to fall from the sky So you can keep us in the dark, for the rest of our lives Deep in the oceans, to freeze at night So you can walk upon the water, like Jesus Christ.
...Stuck in my head!

Thought I'd listen to Pole Rider for the lol's. Couldn't get past the first chorus. Mediocre riffing and horrible vocals. Chad doesn't have the type of voice for a song like this. Just comes across as lame and reinforces my theory of him being a poser in Hellyeah.

Chad is only good in the heavy songs, beside that he really seems to be a poser.. My bro who discovered Mudvayne back in 2000 and showed them to me is saying two things about Hellyeah which is "Bollocks" and "Chad gone crazy" and it's all true, Chad doesn't fit there at all.. Too bad Mudvayne sounds more and more like HellYeah..

i checked out samples of each song, and i have to say that this album is terrible..
not only has hellyeah been just "ok", but they've also ruined mudvayne. the hellyeah sound can be clearly heard on the new mudvayne album, and if you were to throw some of the songs from self titled on to stampede, you would barely even notice the difference.
man, the past 4 years has been tough for this mudvayne fan
