I got an email from This is Club Mud yesterday saying that Mudvayne was going on an extended break.....sad news, looks like we'll only be seeing Chad and Greg with Hellyeah for a while unless Ryan or Matt does something...

man this really sucks.....i just can't get over how they put out a new album, and then walked away. i just think that is really lame. i've tried to dig this album a lot too, but the energy is all gone because the band has put no momentum behind it past releasing it. in those interviews chad makes it seem like all the album release stuff was just a pain in his ass, keeping him away from his hellyeah.
i realize it's the band's decision to do what they want, but doesn't it feel like we kinda got shit on in the deal?? at least we got 11 new songs though..

well looks like we gotta wait another 2 years for mudvayne to be playing shows again Pretty good guess but it appears it will be even longer based on Vinnie Paul's response in this interview (about the 1 min mark of the clip): www.youtube.com/watch?v=E-480zkUyWsThat's really too bad. I like Hellyeah .. but it's certainly not Mudvayne. Sounds like they hit the road in May and are out for 2 years. Might be lucky if we get some Mudvayne love again in late 2012. |

FUCK! I wanted to see Mudvayne live,if Hellyeah would come to Poland it wouldn't be the same thing Ryan and Matt just don't deserve to sit on their asses...I hope Vinnie was lieing(dunno how to write it,hope everyone understand ;p) or something will go wrong and Chad with Greg will come back to a band in even 2010!.We must believe that Ryan and Matt are patient enough to not leave a band. |

Yorek, I think Vinnie is really serious about this one, looks he wants to be back in music and touring for real and this new record and new tour/s will be something more serious, bigger and longer than before.. Well everyone prefer Mudvayne but it looks we will wait for Mudvayne till like.. Late 2012 or in 2013? HellYeah will tour through 2010, 2011 and some 2012 and then we can be hopeful for another Mudvayne in studio news! Well I wouldn't mind seeing HellYeah, meet Chad and Greg again and meet the legend - Vinnie!

I like HY, call me crazy I'm in the rowdier kinda mood for some drinkin and gettin laid kinda music right meow. But it really would've been cool to see Mudvayne on tour for atleast 6 months before hand. HellYeah is a summertime gig.
