Sorry everyone. Wish I could help but don't have access to anything until I get home. That will be another 5 hours. Wish I could help sooner. Trust me when I say if the situation was reversed I would be flipping the duck out. I understand. Isn't there anyone else that got the email? Surely it couldn't be only me....

I thought I’d try my hand at doing a full album review. This isn’t complete just yet. Must attend to other errands before I can finish. But thought maybe you all might appreciate a glimpse of the album if you don’t have it yet….
Mudvayne Album Review
The release of another Mudvayne album always brings mixed emotions for me. Excitement wicks away any bit of patience I have, yet I fear hyping it up too much only to be let down. I desperately want to love any piece of music the band releases, yet I can be their harshest critic. Mudvayne has not yet let me down, but I must admit The New Game did leave me feeling incomplete. It was a solid album that I very much enjoyed. However, it didn’t seem representative of the Mudvayne “attitude” that I’ve come to know and love. I feel confident in saying that has come back in full force with their new self-titled album.
It is true, as the band has stated themselves, that this album is one of the heaviest and most melodic albums to date. Certainly reminiscent of “End of All Things To Come”, I dare to say it breaks some new barriers for Mudvayne without copying past formulas. Admittedly, this album is a bit formulaic. There is plenty of “verse, chorus, verse, chorus, bridge, chorus” type songs. But there are also some moments that catch you off guard as they are different yet somehow expected from the band. Call it a natural progression. The style is not as insane and brutal as “L.D. 50”, but manages to be unpredictable and heavy in its own right. It truly is “Beautiful and Strange”. Greg brings his new found love for solos with a more polished flare. And he’s guaranteed to wear you down with some of the metal riffing he comes at you with in almost every single song. Every now and then, however, he takes a backseat to Ryan. The bass is solid on this album. It’s intricate and complicated as we have come to expect to Mr. Martinie. But his flashy riffs do not distract from the rest of the band. In fact, more than ever, his riffs manage to highlight melodies while adding another dimension to the rhythm of the song. Look to the chorus of “Beautiful and Strange” as a prime example and you will also see how Greg and Ryan have apparently worked their riffs to feed off of each other. And of course, Matt is furiously pummeling the drums throughout…..
