and I think I finally figured out the connections between the songs and their corresponding zodiac signs. Here's what I've come up with:
"The End of All Things to Come" / Aries
Aries people are born leaders and live adventorous lives and like to be the center of attention. The Story of Jim Jones and The People's Temple is referenced heavily in this song and if you do research that subject, it'll all make sense. Jim Jones led a bunch of people to kill themselves and was the center of attention in the months prior to doing so.
"Trapped in the Wake of a Dream" / Taurus
People born under this sign tend to be very self-reliable and act independent and are strong-willed. They discover strength when overcoming almost impossible odds. In the song, he speaks of waking up and pushing through obstacles and discovering strength within to do so.
"Shadow of a Man" / Gemini
Not really alot to explain here. Gemini are represented by twins and thats basically whats going on when you're looking at a mirror. You see two of you
"World So Cold" / Cancer
Cancers are people who don't depend on other people for physical things and personal possessions but do depend on people for emotional support and encouragement. The lyrics suggest getting away from things in life but needing something to comfort you.
"Not Falling" / Leo
The song speaks of standing up for yourself and being confident and showing you're not going to topple over if someone or something pushes you. Leos are known to have great confidence and for standing up for themselves.
"The Patient Mental" / Virgo
Virgos have a very active mind and are always thinking. Progress is limited but there is indeed movement. Just like "the clock upon the wall. Always moving but never going anywhere."
"Silenced" / Libra
Libras like to make people happy and bring balance to situations. Chad singing about censorship and defeating it certaintly does make more sense of its lyrical content.
"Skrying" / Scorpio
Good memory, the ability to hold grudges, great observations are what define a Scorpio. I think that sums up the song as well. odd observations of different things in life, "remembering" things, looking at "reflections in a pool" to be reminded of a certaint event.
"Solve Et Coagula" / Sagittarius
These people welcome change with open arms and are content with whatever is presented to them. The song is all about change and the whole concept of "destroying to recreate", the basic translation of the song title.
"(Per)Version of a Truth" / Capricorn
Capricorns are very ambitious and never surrender. Just like the right person to expose truth. Never giving up and seeing through the lies
"Mercy, Severity" / Aquarius
People born under this sign are interested in the opposite sides of the spectrum. Good and bad, black and white, mercy and severity, which are opposite ends of the emotional spectrum. I also heard somewhere that this being a water sign has to do with the part where Chad says
"Pour firmament between our waters, separate the space"
which means something about the asteroid belt separating the space between the inner planets and the outer planets.
"A Key to Nothing" / Pisces
Pisces people live in two worlds, the real world and the spiritual or mystical world where they interpret what they see into what they want. They do this to avoid all the realities of pain and suffering in the world. Just like the song, theres alot of things you see and of those same things, you want to get rid of all of them to separate yourself from something. This is, in fact, the key to nothing.
questions, comments, let me know what you guys think. as you can tell, i spent alot of time on this and i would appreciate any feedback on my research of this. hope you guys found this entertaining or informative
