Not all are bad. There are some good ones here. And the final score so far is practically the same for L&F and EOATTC. I'm beginning to notice that some of the critics I'm coming across have never really given Mudvayne good reviews, so I'm not really surprised by the bad reviews. Oh yeah, here's the link. www.metacritic.com/music/artists/mudvayne/newgame?q=mudvayne

yeah i've been listening to it nonstop and it has grown on me more.....i'm not in love with it, but i like it a lot.....i could care less what critics have to say about anything......it's up to me to decide whether or not something is good.....i would like to start a business of criticizing critics.......hey you, critic,.....your last review sucked!!

Dude, there is no bad music.. Its impossible. I can tap on a desk and say a few words, and you can't call it shitty, because each and every person will have a different opinion. All these critics, are all gay for Fall Out Boy and all that. Who are they to judge somebody elses art? Let me tell them something... A review from some asshat that makes his living by bashing other, far more succsesful people. I'd like to see these guys write an album. One thing anybody can hate, are professional shit talkers.

True, they get paid to do reviews...but it doesn't mean we have to take what they write as gospel. Listen for yourself & form your own opinion. Like Colton eluded to....music is an art form open to interpretation. Just because something is popular or "all of the critics agree" doesn't mean you personally are going to like it. I'm sure we've all seen a great movie or listened to an awesome album that the critics totally panned!

Man, those are some harsh reviews...I know I'll be on the rail with Kathy and Ginelly (anyone else???) at the HOB show, but I think I might have to pass on The New Game...I'll just jump and be crazy so no one will know I don't know the words. I'm with ya there At least most of the setlist songs are from their older albums

This CD is kinda reminded me of Disturbed's new one, not in sound but that....it wasn't bad it just wasn't good. There are moments, but I think Fish Out Of Water is the only song that I really love all the way through. I really hope the next one is better.
Also it seems like a lot of reviewers don't know that they recorded and finished this album BEFORE Hell Yeah.

Opinions are like assholes. Everyone has one. Sorry for the cliche', but's it true. As long as you like the album, it really doesn't make a difference what "the critics" say. And if Chad, Greg, Matt and Ryan are happy with what they produced, that's good enough for me. Fans are so fickle!
