Welcome to the Pit! and don't let the non-responses bother you. We're not as active as a lot of forums are, since we're relatively new and alot of the members here are lurkers-hopefully they'll speak up eventually! Good to have another fan on board

That's a little better.
Thanks for the warm welcome.
I'm not a mudvayne fanatic, but I'm not a mudvayne basher either. I do believe that they lost whatever they had going after TEOATTC.
Your thoughts?

Your thoughts? I guess it all depends on what you're looking for. There's a lot of people who think they went downhill after LD50. Although every album has had a different "feel" to it, I've loved them all to some degree, but I think TEOATTC will always be my overall favorite...especially the lyrics. Because they've all been so different, it'll be interesting to see which facet of the band is revealed in the next album. I know I'm not the only one getting impatient with this! oh yeah....not everyone on here is a fanatic although some of them are *cough*Megan*cough* most of us are just fans. sooo reverend-what other bands are you into?

Curiosity provokes me--why do you call yourself Reverend? Could he be the bible thumper from the vid where that guy on the street calls Mudvayne the devil's music, and he has now changed his ways?

I'm not a mudvayne fanatic, but I'm not a mudvayne basher either. I do believe that they lost whatever they had going after TEOATTC. Your thoughts? I don't think they lost it all together, I think the overall musicianship got better but for me it seems they lost a certain darkness to them that made LD 50 so memorable. That album was all over the place, yet made perfect sense. Perhaps now they're too organized and it sort of makes the music sound less organic and creative. I'm kind of a mudvayne fanatic and I honestly love all their stuff so it's kind of weird talking in the negative about them, but when I'm honest I love LD 50 best because of the mood, it's not necessarily because the music is better, but the atmosphere is stronger. They've also seemed to have become more 'rock' as they go on and less 'metal', not so much in sound but more so in structure. :/ I dunno, I'm gonna listen to Lost and Found and shut up cuz even though I may like LD 50 best, I stil fucking love the other albums.
