Installed a new dvd-rw drive this evening, and of course the cheap software it came with (Nero7) is only half-assed and wants you to pay for their premium service, so guess what? I'm downloading the full Nero Suite torrent with keygen via Azureus. Up your ass Nero!

If they pull crap like that, they don't deserve it! What's the point of selling a DVD burner, and not including the features (like MPEG DVD decoding software that's essential), that render the burner completely useless?  Like iTunes--when they get rid of that DRM encrypted into their mp3's and videos, then I'll bite. I'm not paying $1/song and not be able to do what I want with it. Ah well, so far I've got 120MB out of 521.32MB downloaded..... |

Some wicked wildfires have been raging all the way up near the Georgia/Florida border, and the winds from the fizzled-out tropical storm have blown all the smoke and ash all the way down to where I live. Here's a pic that I took just before NOON today.  It was so bad, I could barely breathe out there. The cars were filthy too. |
