I've never understood shots (why have liquor in one's mouth if one can't taste it?--it costs enough!!!), but that's most likely because I don't/can't drink the hard stuff...except a shot of the Black Bush or Dew in quality coffee once in a while!

I admit it: via the Beloved Mudvayne, SK is my secret, guilty pleasure. That little Sid Wilson's first solo offering is dropping tomorrow, and I'm buying it Thursday ! I'm vandalizing the MBTA with stickers and posters in honour of this release!! ...iTunes for my coworkers! Yummy Jungle. Yes, I love DJ-skills--trance and rave, originally, and have for a long time--though I was introduced to D&B/Jungle and hardcore via an intern about the same time I fell back in love w/Metal *sigh* Thanks MV!!--can you blame me for getting tweeked on Starscream and his crew the SPC? Oh well...

I like trance and rave too, but I have to be either drunk and in a club, or lying on my bed, drunk, staring at the ceiling. I dated (a loose term) a guy from Kentucky who was into the rave scene. I actually met him on the beach with some friends of mine at the time. He started out doing glowsticks at the club, and then got into fire poi (flkmnky, I'm sure you've heard of it, living in HI). He would soak the ends of the chains (packed kevlar) in kerosene and have me light it and just go nuts, swirling and dancing, occasionally whacking himself with the lit kevlar, all while listening to trance/techno and Mindless Self Indulgence (he got me into them:)). But I don't have any cd's though.

Ah, c'mon, they'd be great! I mean, Mick, with his beautiful glossy black hair (granted, his hula dance would not be something tired, jet-lagged travelers might want to be greeted with!); Sid, with his athletic moves and washboard abs would be precious in the grass skirts! And Craig--well, he's already got a bit of the hip-shakin' thing down pat! And Jim's impromtu "Modern Dance" moves he's perfecting in SS--I think this is something they should consider!
