That's why you can't judge a book (or a cd) by the cover LOL

I also heard they were Christains. But after watching all the footage on Killadelphia, I doubt it.

They're definitely one of the best live bands out there-can't wait to see them again. Hopefully it won't take them as long as Mudvayne to write their next album and be back out on the road! If you're a big fan, you should really join their fan club. For only $20 you get a special shirt and access to the forum that the band is on alot. They also have monthly and yearly giveaways. ;D I won their end-of-the-year one ;D it came a couple of weeks ago:

Well, in the COB thread, I told Kathy I'd give these guys a fair listen when they (and COB, As I Lay Dying, God Forbid--yay!--and Municipal Waste) roll into town this May. And I will. The House of Blues. Look, I don't care how 'new' this venue is, working out the bugs in sound and service, etc., etc. I'm so happy that a metal package is actually IN TOWN that I know where some of my bonus money is going (besides bills and t-bills or kiva.org!) So, I found this info on the Children of Bodom site: www.cobch.com. I'm sure LOG's site has dates, but they seem awfully....lacking in range. No Florida, for instance, and they are hitting some markets twice (like MA: Worcester and Boston~~it's not like the audience will be *that* different, though perhaps a younger crowd may come to the Boston show. It's easy to get to Worcester by commuter rail, but a bitch to get back in town, and home, before the T shuts down for the night.) Anyway. I hope this package adds more dates throughout their Spring tour....it seems kind of weirdly laid out right now ;(

Anyone hear Contractor (new song)? Personally I thought it was very bland. Cool bass riff in the middle however.

Can't speak for COB since I haven't had the pleasure (YET) of seeing them live. I love God Forbid & As I Lay Dying as well...Municipal Waste is good too. I was very disappointed that they were skipping FL and like you said, hitting some areas more than once. With a lineup like that, my only choice is to take time off work and drive 11 hours to Atlanta. Luckily I have some friends willing to do the same. We're driving straight to St. Pete after the show (no sleep!) so that we can see the Cold reunion tour the next day....although it's very tempting to stay in Atlanta to see Kataklysm/Napalm Death/Toxic Holocaust the next day, and then The Haunted the day after that! Fucking lucky Atlanta people! Stallan: just wondering what your thoughts are on the new album after having heard more than Contractor? I know there's some long-time fans who think they've "pussied-out" with this cd. Idk, maybe it's because I'm partial to vocals/lyrics, I'm VERY happy with it. Randy's vocals are incredible IMO.
