I thought they were finished (and Mudvayne would return soon) but apparently HellYeah has more touring to do. What REALLY kicks ass is that they're touring with one of the most awesome live bands ever!!! (my opinion of course) Machine Fucking Head!!! Supporting will be Nonpoint and Ankla.
these are the dates so far (PLEEEEASE, PLEAAAAASE add a FL date...or 2 or 3 or 4.....):
With Machine Head, Nonpoint and Ankla:
Fri 1/25 Clinfton Park, NY Northern Lights
Sat 1/26 Sayreville, NJ Starland Ballroom
Sun 1/27 Richmond, VA Toad's Place
Tue 1/29 Charleston, SC The Music Farm
Wed 1/30 Charlotte, NC Amos Southend
Fri 2/1 Allentown, PA Crocodile Rock
Sat 2/2 Atlantic City, NJ House of Blues
Tue 2/5 Washington, DC 9:30 Club
Wed 2/6 Providence, RI Lupo's
Fri 2/8 Mokena, IL The Pearl Room
Sat 2/9 Traverse City, MI Streeters
Sun 2/10 Flint, MI The Machine Shop
Fri 2/15 Milwaukee, WI The Eagles Club
More dates announced soon.

That pisses me off. Sure HellYeah is needed for Vinnie Paul, Chad and Greg's sakes, and I'm sure a lot of people enjoy their music. But for people like me who FIEND Mud music, this sucks. Now we're going to have to wait until winter 2008 (my prediction) for the new record/touring. This wait is going to be fucking killer.

right there with you stallan. Although I'd be happy to go to this tour if it came nearby since Chad & Robb are my absolute favorite vocalists, I'd be ecstatic if HellYeah stopped and Mudvayne came back. Mud stopped touring in April of 06 and at the rate HY is going, it'll take more than a few months for Mud to get together to refine the cd that was supposedly already finished a looooong time ago! I'm worried that the summer Mud tour dates we've been hoping for aren't going to happen.
Maybe this IS the end of HY's tour...and no more dates will be added. Although I'd KILL to see Machine Head again, if they don't come here on this tour and it's OVER on 2/15, I'd be ok with it. The way I see it, that would mean Machine Head will come here (hopefully) on their own and play a full set (unlike the 8 or 10 songs sets they've been doing lately) AND Mudvayne will be off the road enough to finish whatever it is they want to do with the cd so they can get BACK THE FUCK OUT HERE WHERE THEIR FANS HAVE FUCKING BEEN WAITING FOR THE LAST TWO YEARS!!!! It would be a win-win situation ;D

Well, Slipknot and Mudvayne do plan to tour together next year (hopefully by summer as SK plan to be touring by June) But, if anything, THAT better happen cause Corey and Chad are my 2 favorite vocalists ;D. So, yeah, I'm there with you Kathy, I really hope HY will end around Feb/March.

I also read that^. Maybe this will be one last tour just for the hell of it or as a thank you or whatever. And I sure hope the Mud/SK tour happens, because I've been spreading the word, and I would hate to disappoint a lot of people.

so...umm....what exactly is "Moshing"? I gues i mean...what does it mean when a venue says "No Moshing/Bodysurfing" I get the body surfing part....which is cool, cause that shit's annoying when a body slams on the back of your head. But what do they mean by No Moshing? Do they just simply mean....no running around in circles and punch the fuck out of each other?...cause i dont do that shit anyway. Or do they really mean you cant jump around and shit. I mean, everytime i've been to a show...especially a Mudvayne show (or another heavy band) the whole crowd is jumpin around, and on second your on the right side of the crowd....and your way over on the other side cause the crowd is goin so nuts.
i'm asking this cause the Hellyeah/Machine Head show in Des Moines says No Moshing/Body Surfing.....why would i go to a metal show if i cant jump around and bang my head?

Don't worry, small venues always say that but nobody really listens, lol

I think what they really mean by that is "we don't want to be held responsible for you getting hurt, so we're covering our asses by telling you not to do it" LOL I collect signs from venues that say "no moshing" and stuff like that. Funny thing is, they're usually posted on the railing, so once people are up there, no one can see the signs anyway! Some venues would probably follow through and possibly eject body surfers and the violent moshers. That happened at our Down show. I think sometimes it's at the request of the bands too.
