My best I would have to say is my 1st rock concert experience, Korn, Dec 6 2005 (a day before my Birthday) because it was the 1st band I've ever seen live and the 1st band I've gotten into And it was in my fav venue, The Hard Rock and I was on railing the whole time. A beautiful 1st concert experience ;D. The other memorable one to me was the 1st time I saw Mudvayne live at the House of Blues last April, 20th. Not only did I get to see them live for the 1st time, but it was also the first time I've ever met a band . Nice. See now id be rubbing it in when i say AGAIN that its when i went backstage met korn and saw Chad. It was the long beach show. I was in the pit and it was amazing. Mudvayne and Korn. Life is good. I was there at that same show. I met the lead singer from 10 Years as i was walking through the parking lot by their bus. I saw Mudvayne after the show hanging out by the bus and i was gonna go say hi but they had to leave. AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

You live in Orlando? I love how they are around when at the House of Blues and not "hidden" like in many other venues ;D. Hours before the show I saw Chad walking around helping set up- going in and out of the House of Blues.

Yet another great concert experience for me.
I went to see Hinder, Three Days Grace, Hoobastank, and Nickelback yesturday at Milwaukee's Summerfest. I left before Nickelback cause I don't like them at all. But Hinder, 3DG, & Hoobastank were all amazing. Hoobastank did this cool thing like 'Guess the song' with Another Brick in the Wall and Livin' on a Prayer. The people by me and my friend were lame. They wanted to sit the whole time, of course me and my friend stood up cause all the bands were outstanding and sounded GREAT. Hinder didn't play the song I wanted to hear but chose some good tracks. 3DG ended it with 'I Hate Everything About You' which was a huge crowd pleaser and evryone was singing. Hoobstank played one of my favorite songs of the new album 'The First Of Me' and I got to hear my all-time favorite Hoobastank song 'The Reason' EVERYONE had their cellphones or a lighter out for that one. Great show.
Then me and my friend ran from one end of the place to the other in 10 minutes (this place is like 2 miles long or something) so we could catch Trapt.

I've seen 3 Days Grace and Hoobastank before, and I wasn't really expecting to like them, but I did-they were both really good. I think you made a wise choice with leaving before Nickelback, especially since you would have missed Trapt had you stayed.... I totally agree about people who sit at concerts...and then they complain if you stand because they cant see! if they wanted to sit and "see" so badly, they should have bought the video and stayed home! After all, it's not the fucking opera. Sometimes its parents who aren't really into the music, but want to keep an eye on their kids. The parents in that case, should just give it a try....see if they can appreciate things from their kids point of view instead of just bitching about it. Anyway...glad you had a great time Silenced!

Hmm greatest momomet i have two. 1) I was 13 and i saw Mudvayne , i was just standing in the pit not knowing what was going to happen (the only concerts id been to was like John Farnham) then Matty sat behind the kit listening to the crowd sing Walk by Pantera, then Greg and Ry jumped in from each side of the stage and then Chad came running out singing Under My Skin i was so amazed i was so young and the sheer power of the pit was incredible!. 2) Waiting for HELLYEAH for 6 hours at the airport then Chad and Greg telling me i can come to soundcheck, hanging out with my idol Mr Gray for 3 hours and finding out precious information about his leg tattoo AND finding out he has a new tat. Then 2 hours later saw them perform on stage, wow. Worst show ive been to i'd have to say AFI oh and a band called Mammal and The Bleeders.

Why AFI? They have very cool dance moves. Not as cool as Jim Root's moves, but still...kidding! What's your age now, Megan? I was still going to concerts with my folks at 13! Granted, it was willingly--they have pretty good and eclectic taste, and always had great tickets, so it's never been an issue--although, they declined to accompany me to Iron Maiden when I was 16--they'd decline now, too, of course! My best? Mudvayne, as I've posted in detail elsewhere here. Worst? None, really--except for the Irist Fest in Washington, DC, I suppose, back in '95. It was too hot (usual for that region!) and I was unprepared for my sudden shyness as a credentialed free-lance photographer there.

Best concert experience: Meeting Mudvayne before the show in 2005 then being up front on the rail. I tried like hell to touch Chad but the security guards were big and ugly. At this same show I saw 10 Years for the first time and I am now a HUGE 10 Years fan. Worst concert experience: Family Values Tour 2006, show was awesome but a crowd surfer had a spikey belt on that got stuck on one of my braids. It ripped out a big wad of my hair!

Oh shit! Thats gotta hurt! Did you try to do your hair like Head? LMAO!!! It was just braided pig tails. It hurt like hell. I took out the braids and just left the pigtails for the rest of the show. I had my whole head braided once, even had the 'horns' on top. It was neat but took about 4 hours.
