My best I would have to say is my 1st rock concert experience, Korn, Dec 6 2005 (a day before my Birthday) because it was the 1st band I've ever seen live and the 1st band I've ever gotten into (so it made sense to me that they would be my 1st rock concert experience) Also, it was in my fav venue, The Hard Rock and I was on railing the whole time. A beautiful 1st concert experience ;D. The other memorable one to me was the 1st time I saw Mudvayne live at the House of Blues last April, 20th. Not only did I get to see them live for the 1st time, but it was also the first time I've ever met a band .

You are rubbing it in, lol. You don't know how bad I wanted to see Korn and Mudvayne in one night. You know, it was the lineup I had hoped for since I got into both bands, and when I found out they were touring together, I was sooo excited. But then I looked and see on the Hard Rock website, and it read "Mudvayne will not be a part of this performance"- after I having been excited for a good 2-3 weeks. To this day I'm dissappointed that I didn't get that chance I did still go, to see Korn of course. But I couldn't help but feel like, "damn, Mudvayne should have been there"

And me too if I lived somewhere where both bands were to perform.

Wooooow. All of my eperiences have been amazing.
Breaking Benjamin, Staind, 3 Doors Down - Every band brought their own to the stage. Sooo amazing. Breaking Benjamin was crazy awesome. Staind was incredible. 3DD was sooooooo great.
10 years, Sevendust, Mudvayne - Met Jesse and Lewis from 10 years. They were soooo amazing Sevendust kicked ass and Mudvayne owned.
(3 days later) Disturbed - CRAZY! I was in the pit. The band seriously kicked major ass. I went to the doctor the next day, turned out I broke 3 ribs from being in the pit.
Silverstein (yes, I saw them live) - Great performance. Crazy pit. Got a black eye.
10 years, Mudvayne, Korn - ONE OF THE BEST CONCERTS EVER. All three bands owned the stage at their time. All were soo incredible and amazing! Korn kicked ass.
(tonight) Madena Lake, Flyleaf, 10 years - At first I never heard of ML buuut they were good. Flyleaf was awesome. Lacey is my idol. 10 years owned all. They were incredible. Every song performed with such emotion. Definitely one of the best concerts.

Haha, nice job, you guys. I suck so much ass, I've only been to one concert. I saw Korn and Mudvayne and Drowning Pool. I saw Sevendust too but I don't like 'em much. I was sooo far away from the rail and it sucked cuz I had to be watched over like a little girl and stay away from the pits. But next time I go, that's not gonna be happening. ;D

Don't worry Leslie, I'll make sure you're at the rail with us next time!

I've been going to concerts probably longer than some of you have been alive, so I have lots of them to choose from.
My worst one was last year for a Seether concert. The audience was a bunch of rude, drunk, pop loving brats. They were mostly there for Crossfade, I think. So we had to deal with that and No Address, the opening band, which sucked as well. To top it off, they played these horrible "tv show themesongs" in between the bands. Seether was good, but the experience and the other bands were just plain awful.
I have a lot of "bests" mostly the Mudvayne ones, and especially the EDBD one in Orlando last month! We were soooo close and they kicked so much ass. Fuck it...all the Mudvayne ones were mezmerizing!
among other bands...Machine Head/Devildriver 2005 is the first one that comes to mind!

It's mainly because I live in SA and no-one ever comes here . They always skip Adelaide and go to places like Melbourne and Sydney . Though that'll change next year. My friends and I are determined to see more of our fav bands in concert together xD. Apparently, a friend told me, Children of Bodom came to Adelaide this year. I was so pissed off. It was only a small, low-key concert, but I can't believe I missed out . I had no idea they came here. But, there's always next year if I decide to travel .

Ok, so I do have a bad concert experience to add here. It was my 1st House of Blues concert, April 7 2005 (this is the one I had mentioned to you a while ago mom, but I'll post it here) It was Sevendust at the HoB along with Skindrid and 2 other opening bands I don't remember. I went with my brother only. We had gone up to railing (because I didn't know any better at the time- this was only my 3rd concert and 1st HoB) For those who aren't familiar with the Orlando HoB, well it really doesn't fit a lot of people and whenever it is a sold out show (which it happenend to be this night) you barely have any room to move. Well, what happened was that when Skindrid hit the stage, everyone just went wild - and yes mom, I have to agree with you, I hate the drunkend, rude, bastards too. Somewhere in the middle of Skindrid's set I got push so far the left that I lost my brother. Then, I couldn't get out of the crowd b/c I wasn't close enought to security to signal that I wanted out. I was screaming out of fear b/c I was getting crushed and felt I couldn't get out of that situation (for those who don't know I'm only 5 ft tall). These 2 guys saw I was having trouble, so they helped protect me agaisnt the crazy ass, pushy crowd. They stood by me until Skindrid was over. If it wasn't for them I don't know how injured I would have been afterward. Right before Sevendust came on I had a chance to get out of the crowd and watch from a safer spot. I came out with a couple of bruises and my eyebrow ring got hit, and it beld a little- but luckly nothing too severe. Since then I've learned about the intensity at the HoB and learned that railing just won't work there for me. About 2 weeks after that was my 1st Mudvayne concert- a MUCH better experience. I watched then from my current safe stop, the starcase at the far left or right of the stage- which still gives me that good view Sorry this is so long, but I'd thought I'd share

Damn that sucks! I'm glad you didn't give up on concerts there though. I'm surprised the crowd was so nuts for Skindred...LOL maybe because I can't stand them myself! Actually, I was in a similar situation when were at this outdoor concert with a ton of bands. Hed(pe) was playing, and we were pretty far back (I didnt know any of their stuff at the time) and the crowd surged so much that my feet were not even on the ground! It was scary, because the only thing to grab onto was the other people around me who were also clearly off balance. We got out of there quick! (didn't like the music anyway).
I also got stuck in the middle once and had to crowd surf to the front to get out of it...the one and only time I ever did that! It was at a Scorpions concert and I was 8 months pregnant with my son at the time. No harm done, but I'm pretty sure I influenced his musical taste because we still go to concerts together!
Thats why I do my best to be alllll the way in the front, at the rail, because once you grab onto the rail, and hold on tight....nobodys going to push you around!
