This is the litho of Dull Boy that you could get if you were one of the first to preorder the latest album. It was hard to get a good picture of since its red on black....but I think you get the idea! The size is about 11" x 13". I hope you got yours too Shroom (and anyone else who got in on the preorder fast enough)

I don't know what a lithograph is, so I'm assuming that its a copy of the original lyric sheet(?) Another thing about this song is that Chad mentions a transient, I've looked for the definition, but couldn't find it. Anyone know what it means?

Oooh I got one of those I was kinda confused on what it would be like because the site had said that it was going to be hand numbered and signed by chad. Still cool though. And I'm pretty sure chad's use of Transient is closest to the chemical meaning cuz they got a history for having hard on's for chemicals ;-)

I still have to get a frame for mine...it's going to be hard to see because of the coloring. I may have to get one of those individual art lights that they have over artwork in museums to show it off! LOL

Kathy, I think that at some point you might need an addition to your home for all of your metal-related Items, photos, etc. You could dub it the 'House of Metal' and open it up to your school's students, say, for a music-education field trip!
And the writing on this lithograph puts me in mind of an earlier Mudvayne "FAQ" homepage section answered by the guys--each one had their own set of fan-based questions they each replied to--Ryan's was handwritten in red--very difficult to read...

Some of "his" bands are represented as well. The old Mudvayne site (before L & F) used to be so nice...other than the forum which has always been shit, of course. I remember reading that Q & A that you're referring to. I wish I'd saved screenshots of a lot of things there... They really seem to have let that site go. The forum is a total disgrace to the band and its fans. The video section has said "coming soon" for months. Even all of those awesome photos and home videos are gone. They should just scrap it all and start over with someone who actually likes the band designing the site. I'm sure there are many fans who would be willing to help out...that would be the ultimate By The People For The People! Of course we'll continue to do our best bringing you all the Mud we can here at the Pit, but the fact remains that when someone is looking for info on a band the first thing they're going to check is the bands name.com!

Keep in mind that a lot of bands are notorious for having shit official websites.

Keep in mind that a lot of bands are notorious for having shit official websites. I didn't realize a lot of band site were like that, prob because I only go on a few (Machine Head, Mushroomhead & Lamb Of God Congregation) and they've been decent. I think a band's website should reflect them. Mudvayne's looks like they just don't give a shit. Their myspace is so much better and up to date. Hopefully new fans will go to the myspace (or here ;D) rather than the .com site.

...speaking of which: thisismudvayne.ning.com/profiles/blog/show?id=1104133%3ABlogPost%3A21321? I visted the Sony forum this evening for a quick run-through of the first couple of pages--first in a longlonglong while/2.6 years--(what else is a dwindling, nasty bout of PMS for, anyway?) and of course wanted to start throwing rocks...and decided that the good Earth was made for better things. However--the "mod" was questioning whether the site linked above might replace that cesspool of shit on Sony. Hmm. I'll investigate more, during the Day. Anyone else visted there? I scanned the post 'nubs' on the frontpage quickly, so if anyone here has posted, sorry! I'd sure not *not* notice anyone here!

yes I was there yesterday to see if there were any changes....
an example: new person posts that they love Mudvayne and that it has gotten them through some tough times. They especially love Chad's voice.
response #1: "uh, you're a retard"
another response: "Sorry, I really hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Chad likes men. Unless you are a man. If so, then this is good news for you."
as for the new forum-it's not any better really. Some of the regulars on the mudvayne.com have taken up residency there as well (they have even said so on the forum)...and when they get banned, they just change their info and return. The fact that they get banned in the first place is at least a step in the right direction-showing that someone who actually cares about the band is trying to make it a better place.

This Friday is a busybusy day (meetings: I'm Full of Joy, Sir!) and Evening for me (Goodbye, dear Chef-coworker ), so I think I'll dedicate early Saturday Morn to scope out the site in whole~~Deity-da*mit, I still think that there are truly good things on this earth that attract the bad/damaging/dumbassed--and I'm not speaking of Balance, either. I'm not for Banning in general (the good folks on this board--who happen to be the Good Folk from the former forum, plus Kim,--taught me by example when to gnash the teeth and when to bare them!) but honestly. Good thing Massachusetts has a 4" unsheathed-blade rule*: otherwise I might be tempted to suggest a slice-and-dice on some user accounts!! *SCA training. Yeah. We can't unsheash our Heavy Weapons at will. Oh well. Adult-training in public safety and the social circles is better than nothing! <cough> Lest I frighten folks off: check out your local Society for Creative Anachronism for further info :blushes again:

I always thought it strange how incredibly strict Mass. was about knives and such. They must be heavily influenced by European mentality on not arming the masses.
ps--I got a giggle out of your "I'm full of joy, Sir!" quip! lol
