I took my 12 year old daughter to her first show last week. We went to No Doubt & Paramore. She has loved No Doubt since she was very little. As soon as I heard they were coming to Atlanta I got tickets. We were on the lawn with her dad, aunt and a friend. She had a lot of fun. Paramore: Gwen on the big screen: My daughter (in the hat) & her friend. We're hoping she gets more into metal as she gets older. I'm very thankful that we did not have to go see Hannah Montana. (she likes her but didn't want to go) She wants to go see Tool in July! Yay!

That's a great thing, good to hear that you and your daughter are into rock and metal and are going to shows together, I wish my dad would take me but he isn't good dad at all and i'm old now so..

I always love seeing parents & kids at shows together. It's such a great bonding experience-one that your daughter will always remember! Haha and yeah, Tool will help ease her into the heavier stuff. Before you know it, she'll be front & center with you at Mudvayne!
and Matt, how old you are has nothing to do with it...when I went to see Mayhem last month, my friend (who is in her 40's) was there with her MOM! They go to a lot of shows together and both enjoy the same music.

I do love Paramore. They put on a great show. My hubby did roll his eyes when they wanted the crowd to 'put up the horns', lol!
I don't know about Mudvayne with my kid. She makes fun of me for my Chad crush, lol! I was telling her about some other band I loved and she said "what about Chaaaaddd?" It was great!

I didn't get her tickets for Tool. It sold out so fast and I was trying to get pit for me and a friend, ended up with seats. My sister was trying to get seats for her & my daughter and when she finally got in the seats were bad. I might try to buy some before the show but I know it's going to be a rip off.
