The page's been deleted now so I guess it was vandalized and that date is false, or that date was true and someone found out fast and had the page shut down.

The release date was supposed to be in july from interviews with matt and chad I read, but you're right, not really promoting it more then a month in advance is weird. I wonder what's going on

I still don't think that's the title. I believe it was a misinterpretation of a blurb in Revolver....notice that nowhere is it said that will be the name of the album, it's just a headline on top of the box telling about the new album. See how on the other page it says "Dimevision Returns" in the same way that it said "Shades Of Gray" on the other? The Dimevision thing is NOT going to be called Dimevision Returns, so why would we assume that Shades of Gray is the title of the album (if indeed it ever sees the light of day!!!) Oh...and sorry for stretching out this page LOL

Yeah I don't think it'll be called shades of gray either, and hopefully not cuz I really don't like that tittle LOL. There was also rumors that is would be called Revelations, anyone know where that rumor originated from?

I didn't like Shades Of Gray either, too close to Staind and Mud would never single out one band member anyway...at least I'd hope not! As for Revelations, my guess is that it's from a blurb box in another magazine! j/k-I actually like that title....any wagers on how long it'll be before we know the REAL title? I'm hoping it'll at least be out by the end of the year.

I've been a Mudvayne fan since the beginning of 2006... Just my luck, they're last tour was around that time. I've never had the chance to see them live. But over time I've become obsessed with them, and would kill to see them live. I saw hellyeah, and being less then a football field away from God(Chad) I was fucking stoked. I can't wait for them to release the new album. Shades of Gray seemed cool, and you're right it was just a title box for revolver, but Shades of GrEy would be better. Revelation seems a little, well typical. L.D. 50 was unique, TEOATTC was also unique, Lost & Found wasn't as unique, but still somewhat unique, Revelation seems typical to me. But I don't care if the album is called "Bumfuck" I just want new MuDvAyNe so I can experience new moods. Every Mudvayne song creates an entirely new mood and headspace for me, it's addictive, and The tohught of having more of that is amazing, but I can't wait.. I'm sure none of can. Sorry for the long reply lol.

Sorry for the long reply lol. Bumfuck! LOL you're so right-I don't give a shit what it's called as long as it's Mudvayne doing it! So true about the moods as well. I used to say that Severed was my favorite song, but really I have so many favorites, all depending on whats going on with me at the time. The albums have actually followed my life in a way. I could really relate to each of them as I was going through certain things. Everything they do is flexible enough ("vague and ambiguous" as they would put it) that you can see yourself in so much of it, even if it was written about something total different. That's why I have this sig. Sometimes it's a fine line whether the songs reflect me or if I instead by being an avid listener, reflect them! I listen to a lot of different bands, but everytime I come back to Mudvayne, it's like a visit from an old friend and about what you said-getting into them just as they were going off tour-it reminded me of this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2H0RsUvUy0it's Dig in Orlando 4/30/06, their very last song of their last show before taking the break to write the new album. I'm right in front of Chad at the rail when he's on the right side....and Ginelly is a little right of me ;D

Shades Of Gray does sound pretty cool, but it just singles out one member, and thats just not Mudvayne to me. Shades of Grey could work, though even with that spelling its pretty much the same. I've heard Revelations before, and i dont think i really like it.....cause it sounds too much like a FINAL album from Mudvayne, and i hear rumors quite a bit about this being probally the last Mud album. I really dont think thats gonna be the case....but i guess you really never know. All i know is that a year ago...i think i was already sick of Hellyeah and wanted to hear the new Mudvayne. Give us a track you already know isnt making the album or something. Or a 30 second clip....an instrumental. I wanna hear SOMETHING.
